Jacki is a highly-experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Jacki has over 30 years’ experience across a variety of industries, including commercial and retail developments, healthcare, defence, industrial, infrastructure, housing and aviation. Jacki has particular expertise in facilities management contracts.
Jacki has an in-depth knowledge of industry standard forms of contract such as JCT and NEC as well as complex bespoke construction and technical facilities management agreements. Jacki has advised and worked for employers, contractors and sub-contractors, along with specialist consultants and technology providers. Jacki regularly advises clients on contractual risk.
Jacki has successfully managed and resolved major disputes in excess of £100m and has particular expertise in adjudication, arbitration and litigation proceedings and the drafting and defence of contractual claims for extensions of time and loss and/or expense.
Jacki regularly assists expert witnesses in forensic investigation and quantum analysis for expert reports.
In depth knowledge and experience of standard and bespoke contracts, and FM agreements.
Extensive experience in analysing, drafting and negotiating of forms contract.
In-depth reviews of current contract performance and development of actions.
Pre-qualification and tender bid process including negotiations during bid stages.
Full re-validation and set up of new contracts to ensure successful delivery.
